Be S.A.F.E. (Not Sorry): Preventing Violence in the Workplace™ (Advantage Course)

Meet CA SB553 Training Requirements! Workplace violence is something we’ve seen on TV and social media and read in the headlines more frequently now than in previous years. These often tell us a story of the disgruntled employee coming into the workplace with a gun. Believe it or not, this is not the most common form of workplace violence. It may be what we read and watch about, but there are other more subtle forms of workplace violence that need to be addressed. This course demonstrates practical—and even necessary—tools to help keep the company safe in today’s hectic and pressure-filled world.

Be S.A.F.E. (Not Sorry) illustrates situations that may pose very real threats to coworkers and to the organization, including:

• Uncontrolled anger
• Intimidation
• Reprisals
• Direct threats of physical harm

Learners will discover appropriate actions that will prevent these and other potential threats from escalating into uncontrollable incidents of physical injury and death.
