Unconscious (hidden) biases can distort our perception of reality. We all have them. This course defines unconscious bias and how to understand and address it within the workplace.

By the end of this module, you will be able to identify and understand exclusive behaviors and the effects they have on the work environment. This powerful, short course discusses what exclusive behaviors are and why people unintentionally exclude others.

Anyone can be an ally. If you are willing to be supportive of an individual who’s being unfairly treated, then you are an ally. Some people are allies in small ways and some in big ways. Like a pebble thrown into water, you are creating a ripple-effect of change starting with just one action.

Inclusion allows us to leverage the advantages of diversity. Diversity without inclusion focuses on differences without necessarily seeing similarities or respecting the differences. A fantastic and fun look at understanding diversity and inclusion.

By the end of this module, you will be able to identify unprofessional behavior in the workplace, management responsibilities for establishing and maintaining a respectful workplace, and respond to unprofessional behavior and inappropriate conduct by using effective communication methods.
