This module focuses on conflicts of interest. A conflict of interest can exist even if there has been no unethical or improper activity. It is NOT a “no harm no foul” situation.

Maintaining confidentiality at the workplace is of utmost importance in today’s competitive world to ensure that Confidentiality is one of many ethical issues that come up in the workplace. This module focuses on the appropriate ways to handle reports of violations of policy (misuse of confidential information).

The acceptance of gifts, services, and hospitality can leave an organization vulnerable to accusations of unfairness, partiality, deceit, or even unlawful conduct. It’s not always easy to identify when giving and receiving gifts crosses the line.

Many jobs have inherent risks. Some people consider them occupational hazards and while you might pay close attention to the obvious risks, you’re more likely to ignore the subtle, equally dangerous risks. In this module, we’ll review why and how falls happen.

Good hand washing is the first line of defense against the spread of many illnesses including blood borne diseases. In this course, we’ll review the importance of hand washing and when to do so.
