In this SafetyBytes® session, we’ll review the actions you should take if you have been involved in a bloodborne exposure incident.
Exposures occur through needle sticks or cuts from other sharp instruments contaminated with an infected patient's blood or other body fluids. Exposure can also occur through contact of the eye, nose, mouth, or skin.
