Description

Maintaining confidentiality at the workplace is of utmost importance in today’s competitive world to ensure that information about customers, clients, and employees are safe. Confidentiality is one of many ethical issues that come up in the workplace.

This eLearning module focuses on the appropriate ways to handle reports of violations of policy (misuse of confidential information).

All reports of violations must be taken seriously and appropriate action taken in a timely manner. A code of ethics establishes the principles and moral values of an organization. Implementing a code of ethics involves creating procedures for investigating allegations. A part of those procedures needs to include taking every allegation seriously.
